Cheatsheets

I don't know about you... but I can't keep track of all of the ins and outs of all the different languages, functions, libraries, tags, styles, etc. that you have to mentally juggle all day long. And even though I keep every documentation and reference known to mankind bookmarked for easy access, nothing seems to beat the cheatsheet (those wonderful tomes with as much useful information that is humanly possible packed into a single-side or double-sided cheat of paper).

And though there are plenty of cheatsheets out there on the Web, I decided to create some of my own. Some are inspired by others I've found and others are purely original works but each contains the kind of information that I find useful.

Here is a list of the cheatsheets I've create so far:

.NET String Formatting
This cheatsheet contains all of the standard and custom format string used to format dates, times, and numbers in .NET.
ASP.NET Life Cycle
This cheatsheet is a diagram of the events that occur throughout the ASP.NET Application and Page life cycles.
CSS
This cheatsheet lists and describes all of the properties in the CSS2 specification.
Design Patterns
This cheatsheet describes and illustrates all of the Gang of Four design patterns.
HTML Character Entities
This cheatsheet contains tables of all of the HTML 4 character entities references.
HTML Colors
This cheatsheet contains a chart of 1050 colors varied by hue, saturation, and brightness and a chart of Web-safe colors.
jQuery 1.3
This cheatsheet is a quick reference to functions and properties in the jQuery 1.3 library.
LINQ Query Operators
This cheatsheet lists and describes all of the standard query operators to be used with LINQ.
XHTML 1.1
This cheatsheet contains elements and attributes available in the XHTML 1.1 specification.

If you have any requests for a new cheatsheet, spotted an error and/or omission, or if you would just like to let me know what you think of them, send me an email or leave a comment below.

Also if you'd like to subscribe to receive updates and changes to these cheatsheets, click on the subscribe link at the top of the page.

Enjoy.

    Hey,
Just wanted to say that I think you have done an amazing job with the cheatsheets! If you are looking for suggestions for other ones, I would recommend either javascript or cocoa as both of those have very little non-copyrighted references out there… Keep up the great work!
